Russ was a volunteer with NFPD for 11 years, retiring as a Lieutenant in 2011, and joined the Board in 2021. He worked as a software engineer and manager at several companies, most recently at CU/LASP. He has lived in the Nederland area for 25 years and in Colorado for over 40 years. He hopes to apply his experience managing projects and budgets to help the NFPD.
