Eric Abramson

Abramson’s interest in emergency services began as a teenager working for  The Appalachian Mountain Club's Hut System and its historic Search and Rescue program. He has served with Nederland Fire since 1997. Eric attended Avista Hospital's EMT program in 2002, and attended the Boulder County Structure Fire Academy in 2003. He has worked as an Initial Attack wildland crew with the United States Forest Service and is a former Ski Patrol Dispatcher/Patroller with the Eldora Ski Area. He received a Bachelor’s of Arts in Journalism with a focus on Film and Television  from The University of Colorado and currently earns his living as Director/Cameraman and also on National dispatches working large fires. Abramson has a broad background in structure and wildland fire, rescue and EMS. He is dedicated to protecting the environment and serving the community of Nederland.
